Military-run Viettel Post Joint Stock Corporation has announced its second price reduction this year for its Vietnam-Cambodia express delivery service.

The corporation announced that under its new price plan, the Vietnam-Cambodia express delivery service cost would come down by a further 20 per cent on average, marking a total decrease this year of close to 50 per cent. After six years in operation, the Vietnam-Cambodia express delivery service now covers all areas in Cambodia, and is currently ranked in the top three express delivery service providers there.

Viettel Post stated that their prices were 30-65 per cent lower than other express delivery service providers, with the same delivery time and service quality.

Since early July 2015, ViettelPost has also offered a 30 per cent discount for delivery services for enterprises which will participate in the M&A Vietnam 2015, which will be organised by VIR and AVM Vietnam in early August in Ho Chi Minh City. This will be the second time that Viettel Post has become the exclusive postal delivery provider for the event. In 2012, it delivered more than 4,000 parcels for the event.
