It has been a great
pleasure for BRG-SeABank
to become the Swing for the
Kids tournament Diamond
sponsor this year, having
been the tournament’s Gold
sponsor in the past.
Swing for the Kids is a
prestigious charitable golf
tournament and a good way
for the business commu-
nity to give back to society
through giving under-priv-
ileged children an opportu-
nity of a good education. The
children will not only have a
chance to better themselves,
but also contribute to the
community at large.
What impresses me the
most is that Swing for the
Kids has been organised
thoughtfully over the past
seven years and been sup-
ported by many golfers and
famous enterprises. The
event is also used by enter-
prises’ representatives to look
for business opportunities.
I highly value Swing
for the Kids’ prime target,
which is to support Vietnam’s
needy, talented pupils. This
target has helped Vietnam
Investment Review in its aim
to build a study-oriented so-
ciety. I think that we who are
businessmen should help pu-
pils and show our corporate
social responsibility to the
community, so that Vietnam
has more talent in the future.
JAMIE WESTENBURG
Director of Kings’ Island
golf resort in Hanoi
We would like to extend
our sincere thanks to
VIR
for
selecting Kings’ Island Golf
Resort to host its prestigious
annual charitable Swing for
the Kids tournament for the
third time.
The complex consists of
36 holes across 350 hectares
of land. The course name
says it all, with 14 holes
bringing water into play. The
mountain view course will
surely leave you with images
you will never forget.
The reason why we have
been cooperating with
VIR
to organise the tournament
is that this tournament is a
charitable activity which is
highly valued far and wide
by the enterprise community
and golfers. It has attracted
a lot of golfers from many
big enterprises and local and
international organisations,
as well as many manage-
ment agencies. I think their
appearance at the resort will
help us promote the resort’s
prestige and services.
Because Swing for the
Kids is a famous golf tourna-
ment and the money raised
is used to support poor and
needy pupils and students,
we will continue cooperat-
ing with
VIR
to further pro-
mote and develop it. I be-
lieve that the tournament
will continue to strongly
develop in the future.

UniCentre, the professional
training arm of KinderWorld
Education Group, is very
honoured to be the gold
sponsor for the charity golf
tournament, Swing for the
Kids. KinderWorld has par-
ticipated in the tournament
for the last four years and
has also been the tourna-
ment’s gold sponsor for the
last two years. KinderWorld
strongly supports the pur-
pose of the event as organ-
ised by Vietnam Investment
Review. Swing for the Kids
is a very significant event
for golfers and needy Vi-
etnamese children who
have achieved well in their
studies. We would like to
express our sincere thanks
to VIR for allowing us to
continue with our on-going
sponsorship.
Seeing graduating stu-
dents from the 2013 group
fulfill their potential is
rewarding for KinderWorld
and reflects our standing in
the community in regards
to our corporate social
responsibility.
We are looking for-
ward to our involvement
with such groups in 2014
and beyond. We also want
to see more support from
donors and enterprises for
needy pupils and students
via Swing for the Kids.
