The Chiroptera John
Bateman dance group will
hit Hanoi for one night
only on September 29
with dance inspired by the

In celebration of the
Japan – Vietnam Friend-
ship Year 2013, the Japan
Foundation Centre for Cul-
tural Exchange in Vietnam
is presenting a photogra-
phy exhibition by Kotori Ka-
washima titled Mirai-chan:
A little girl with chubby red
cheeks. The exhibition has
already been warmly re-
ceived in several cities in-
cluding Tokyo and Osaka as
well as those in Thailand
and Taiwan.

Recycling as art
Bang Nhat Linh recy-
cles objects from the war,
including aircraft debris,
sandbags and bullet cas-
ings. This exhibition aims
to narrow the gap between
the post-war generation
and the ones that experi-
enced this hard period and
endure their suffering still.
