What do you think is the most pressing priority?
There are a lot of factors for Binh Dinh. We need capital
for improving our infrastructure and preserving and upgrading
key destinations, such as the King Quang Trung Museum and
the Tay Son Emperor Citadel. Furthermore, we need investors
to plough money into tourism services, such as entertainment
and amusement spots to attract tourists and ensure they return.
However, the most essential thing we need now is a dy-
namic project to create a brand name for Binh Dinh. This
would help us develop a clearer, more powerful identity.
Do you think Binh Dinh’s time is coming soon?
Yes. Vingroup has started work on its Hai Giang
Tourism complex on an area of over 650ha with total
investment of nearly VND3.5 trillion. This will comprise
four main areas, including a golf course and
resort villas, an administration center, cultural
attractions, hotels and apartments, an en-
tertainment park, an international shopping
center, a marina, and other auxiliary facili-
ties. At present, the project is focussed on
constructing a 1.5km cable system in Quy
Nhon City, running from Mui Tan to the Tran
Hung Dao statue on the Phuong Mai Peninsula
and the development of a 300 rooms, five-star
resort and entertainment park. We believe that
this project will be a significant milestone
for Binh Dinh tourism next year.
