Dance of leaves
Twenty unique artworks
created with dry leaves by
artist Le Dac Trung are to go
on show at the Sofitel Pla-
za, Hanoi. The artist says he
has tried to capture the au-
thentic Vietnam in his work,
with scenes of green fields,
blossoming lotus and the
calmer corners of Hanoi. Le
Duc Trung grew up in the
typical countryside town
of Bac Ninh, but now lives
and works in Hanoi. His art-
works have been displayed
worldwide, from Japan to
the UK and France. Inspired
by leaf artist great, Kazuo
Akasaki, Le Dac Trung is the
pioneer of this type of art
in Vietnam.

years. The display includes
worshipping statues and
paintings, alongside de-
scriptions of ceremonies
and samples of music. One
of the most remarkable
