VIR anniversary gala welcomes high level delegates

Yesterday Vietnam Investment Review held a grand ceremony at the Hilton Opera Hotel Hanoi to mark its 23rd anniversary.

Established in 1991, Vietnam Investment Review (VIR) – a press office of the Ministry of Planning and Investment – is a leading Vietnamese media group that reports on local and regional business and investment developments through five print and three online newspapers.

The print newspapers are namely Vietnam Investment Review, Dau tu, Dau tu Chung khoan, Timeout and Dau tu Bat dong san and the online www.vir.com.vn, www.baodautu.vn and www.tinnhanhchungkhoan.vn.

Addressing the ceremony Minister Bui Quang Vinh stressed that over the past two decades VIR has made significant contributions to Vietnam’s economic development, providing trustworthy information to both local and foreign investors.

He also charged VIR with the task of continuing to report on and analyse Vietnam’s investment environment as well as providing more articles on development trends.
