Among the teams, only 27 finished the race while the other 21 failed due to breakdown or injury. Despite facing technical problems, the Vietnamese racers managed to complete the four racing rounds.

Vietnam Otofun Team was also given a special prize, “Most Team Gentlemen”. This is considered as a great initial success for the country’s off-road sporting advancement.

The team had two cars, one for racing driven by two athletes and the other for technical support managed by five people who are members of off-road car clubs.

During the race, nearly 80,000 members of Otofun forum encouraged the athletes. The managing board of the forum will welcome the team home at 19:00 today (December 16) at Noi Bai International Airport.

RFC is an annual competition which is held in nature reserves in Malaysia for 4x4 off-road racers for countries worldwide. They have to drive vehicles in tropical jungles with a wet climate and muddy, sloping roads.
