Vietnam Investment Review (VIR) celebrated its 25th birthday and received a First-Grade Labour Medal from the government of Vietnam at the ceremony yesterday.
Uong Chu Luu, Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly of Vietnam, put the First-Grade Labour Medal on VIR’s flag.

The event saw the participation of various Vietnamese leaders, representatives from government agencies, localities, diplomatic agencies, and international organisations operating in Vietnam, as well as other newspapers, and domestic and foreign companies and investors. Many of the newspaper’s partners also sent flowers and expressed their best wishes.

Starting its journey on September 27, 1991, with two original publications of Vietnam Investment Review in English and Việt Nam - Đầu tư nước ngoài in Vietnamese, Vietnam Investment Review has grown to be a leading multi-media group with five regular printed publications, four online newswires, and a list of prestigious special editions. Going a step further, Vietnam Investment Review is also well-known for organising business forums, conferences, and policy-discussion roundtable talks.

25 years after its establishment, VIR remains persistent in its mission to be the most trusted companion of the business community, and a bridge between government agencies, policy makers, entrepreneurs and investors, and, most of all, the people.

“The editorial board of VIR and all its staff would like to thank the leaders of Vietnam, government agencies, localities, colleagues, partners, and readers for the love. We will continue to keep renewing and improving ourselves to meet your demands,” said editor-in-chief Le Trong Minh.

“Vietnam Investment Review strives for recognition amongst the best regional and global business newspapers. With our vision, drive, and ceaseless effort, we are convinced that we are going to see more success to come,” he added.
