Vietnam attends int’l tourism training conference

Dr Ho Quang Minh from the Vietnam Central Hospital for Acupuncture has participated in an international tourism training conference in Zacatecas, Mexico.

Minh briefed delegates on Vietnam’s tourism potential with its 40,000 historic sites, 117 museums, and 21 national tourism centres, as well as eight world biosphere reserves, 30 national parks, and 400 hot springs.

The country also boasts Ha Long and Nha Trang as two of the most beautiful bays in the world.

He also introduced an exhibition of photographs from the Vietnam News Agency (VNA)’s Vietnam Pictorial featuring the country and its people.

The Zacatecas Minister of Tourism, Pedro Inguanzo, and Headmaster of the Autonomous University of Zacatecas, Armando Silva, spoke highly of the diverse cultures and beautiful scenery in Vietnam and proposed organizing more activities to strengthen tourism cooperation between the two countries.
