Tien Minh joins UK badminton tourney
Vietnam’s top badminton player Nguyen Tien Minh is attending the All England Open Badminton Championship 2013 between March 5th and 10th.
Seeded 8th in the tournament, the Vietnamese athlete started competing on March 6th without joining the qualifiers.
According to experts, Minh may meet a tough rival, World No.1 Lee Chong Wei from Malaysia, in the quarterfinals.
Minh ranks 9th in the Badminton World Federation’s latest rankings.
