Spanish businesses to visit Vietnam to seek partners

Three delegations of Spanish businesses will visit Vietnam in March and April to study market and seek partners.

A delegation from the Aragon region, involving lubricant, garment, air conditioner, metallurgy and lighting businesses, will come to Vietnam as part of a tour to the Philippines , Thailand and Vietnam from February 28-Mar. 7.

During the visit they will seek opportunities to sign cooperative agreements and set up partnership relations and distribution channels for their products in the three Southeast Asian countries.

Meanwhile, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tarragona city in Catalonia is preparing to send a business delegation on a market survey tour of Indonesia , Thailand and Vietnam from Mar. 20-30.

Madrid Chamber of Commerce plans to send a delegation to the Spain-Vietnam Business Forum on April 16-17 in Ho Chi Minh City .

According to Spanish statistics, Vietnam and Spain set a record in trade exchange in 2011. In the first 11 months of 2011, two-way trade between the two countries hit 1.51 billion EUR compared with 1.23 billion EUR in 2010.
