Luu triplets arrive in HCMC for show

The Luu triplets, known for their roles in the blockbuster Pacific Rim, on September 10 arrived in Ho Chi Minh City for an event on September 13.

Joining the entertainment industry in 2006, the brothers, including Mark Luu, Lance Luu và Charles Luu got their first role in 30 Seconds to Mars' music video for the song "The Kill (Bury Me). 

The brothers were born in 1987 in Canada to a Vietnamese mother and a Chinese father.  Expressing their feeling visiting their mother’s homeland, the three said they were excited seeing the streets of Saigon and hoped to have more chances to discover the city. They were also stunned for being loved by many fans in Vietnam and said they would look for chances to come back to the country.

“We usually watch shows on Vietnam and Asia. We love Vietnamese foods as well as Asian cuisine. Our mother often cooks us Vietnamese dishes. She’s an awesome cook,” Charles Luu, the youngest member of the triplets shared.
During their three-day trip in Vietnam, the triplets will take part in the show “Ket Noi Uoc Mo” (Linking dreams) as well as charity programs.

The event to be held at the Military Zone 7 Stadium on September 13 will include interactive session with Vietnamese fans, catwalk and music performances and other activities.

Three hundred free tickets for the show are being given away. Interested readers can access tuoitre.vn until the end of September 11 to answer questions and attempt to win tickets. The names of the ticket winners will be released on the website one day later.
