Honda in fast lane to capture greater market share

Honda Vietnam last week launched latest Honda Civic model in Vietnam despite an auto market slump.

According to the auto-maker, the new 2012 Honda Civic represents the ninth generation of one of the most successful models created by Honda.

“Being highly-appreciated by strong operational capabilities, good fuel efficiency together with beautiful and durable sporty design, the Civic has always been a favourable and reliable choice of worldwide customers,” said Tomohiro Maruno, director of Honda Vietnam auto sales.
Up to March 2012, according to global Honda’s statistics, the Civic has sold  more than 20.7 million units all over the world.

Since its first launch in US market in April of 2011, the ninth generation of Honda Civic has been warmly welcomed by this fastidious market with the sales in first half of 2012 coming up to nearly 163,000 units, continuously reaching the leading position in the C segment sedan.
“It is the belief and the love of customers which are the most certain proof for the success of 2012
Civic – the automobile of future,” said Maruno.

In Vietnam, since Honda started automobile business from August 2006, Honda Civic has received high evaluation and become more and more closed to Vietnamese customers.

“With advanced design, advanced technology, high quality and safety, Honda Civic can be said to be one of the best choices in the mid-sized sedan segment,” Maruno said.
