Hanoi develops renewable energy

The program is part of the larger-scale program on safe and effective energy usage. It will help to raise local organizations and individuals’ awareness of renewable energy, so that enhancing to energy security and sustainable development.
As Hanoi has potential sources of renewable energies, chiefly solar, wind, and biomass from industrial by-products, the city would raise the community awareness by developing renewable energy using models and devices in enterprises, production facilities and households.
The public illumination system will be planned in line with natural conditions to reduce energy waste.
Renewable energy applications will be developed in industrial and agricultural production, transport, services and household consumption.
Renewable energy products will be on display at international fairs in the capital city.
