Four Vietnamese players to join Arsenal young team

VietNamNet Bridge - Four players of the Hoang Anh Gia Lai (HAGL) Arsenal JMG Football Academy will join the young team of Arsenal FC.

According to HAGL FC, the technical director of Arsenal, Mr. Steve Morrow, has invited four players - Cong Phuong, Dong Truong, Xuan Truong and Tuan Anh – of the HAGL Arsenal JMG Academy to Arsenal's training center in London for training. These four players are 17 years old who have been trained for five years at the HAGL Arsenal Academy.

The four players will go to London to attend a month-long training (from late November to late December Christmas) with the U18 team of Arsenal FC.

"This is a great honor for HAGL FC, which proves that HAGL has gone on the right track in training young players. We hope that these players will be the pillars of HAGL FC and the pillars of the Vietnamese national team in the future," said HAGL FC’s CEO Huynh Mau.

Recently, with the enthusiastic support of the technical director of Arsenal FC Steve Morrow and coach Arsene Wenger, HAGL Arsenal JMG Academy’s trainees had a three-week training trip in England, France and Belgium.

During this trip, the team had the opportunity to live with the Arsenal’s first team. It was the time that the four young players of the HAGL Arsenal JMG Academy “entered” they eyes of Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger.
