The Festival is one of the many highlights of the 2013 National Tourism Year in Red River Delta-Hai Phong and marks the 59th anniversary of Hanoi's liberation.

This large-scale festival will be divided into five parts presenting about 300 display booths, including a miniature of Hanoi traditional handicraft streets and villages; an area for tourism enterprises and airlines; a cuisine fair featuring specialties of Hanoi and its neighboring provinces and cities; and an area for folk and sports games.

Ancient ancestral worship ceremonies of handicraft villages such as Bat Trang traditional pottery-making village, Son Dong fine arts village, Van Phuc silk village, Ngu Hiep basket knitting village, Chau Khe jewelry village, Le Mat snake village and more will also be organized.

The event aims to honor, conserve and develop the traditional values of Hanoi and Red River Delta Provinces. On the occasion, travel companies will introduce to visitors special tours exploring local destinations.
