Digiworld to be listed on stock market

Digital World Joint Stock Company (Digiworld) will be listed on the HCM City Stock Exchange (HOSE) between July and August.

Digiworld is a distributor for the world's largest brands that produce laptops, printers and smartphones such as Lenovo, Toshiba, and Microsoft and has made efforts to diversify products and services.

Digiworld will be the exclusive distributor for Obi mobiles in Viet Nam one month after the products are introduced to the US market in the third quarter of this year.

The company will also improve its mobile business as this sector is growing strongly and will occupy 65-70 per cent of the company's revenue this year. Its other revenue sources will be personal computer and office equipment sales.

Last year, the company received VND4.87 trillion ($225.7 million) in revenue and VND128 billion ($5.9 million) in after-tax profits, an increase of 59.5 and 150 per cent, respectively, over 2013.
