recently spent a weekend in Nha
Trang where my family and I stayed
at the InterContinental Nha Trang
Hotel. Situated on the golden street
of Tran Phu, Nha Trang City, InterConti-
nentnal Nha Trang is the latest addition
to InterContinental family in Vietnam.
The five-star hotel has just been
open for a few months, but its services
are rather professional and friendly, al-
beit it a bit slow. We checked into a
Deluxe Room overlooking the sea. The
room was very spacious and had all
the modern facilities, including a blue-
tooth sound system which was really
nice. The room had one of the best in-
teriors I have seen.
The hotel features 279 contempo-
rary guest rooms, including 56 luxuri-
ously furnished suites, designed by the
renowned Singaporean Tan Hock Beng.
All the guest rooms and suites feature
a spacious balcony with private sitting
area offering panoramic views of the
pristine bay. However, there are some
facilities that aren’t open and only a
half of rooms and suites were ready to
welcome guests when I stayed.
It is a fantastic hotel and I won’t
hesitate to stay again to experience
the few facilities that weren’t opened
yet, including the Club InterContinental
Lounge and Spa. When finished, for the
truly privileged, Club InterContinental
offers an elevated level of hospitality
through personalised services, includ-
ing private check-in and check-out,
complimentary afternoon tea, and all-
day non-alcohol beverages.
Currently the hotel’s signature
restaurants and bars promise to bring
unforgettable dining experiences to so-
phisticated gourmets. Cookbook Café,
the main restaurant, serves all-day din-
ing a-la-carte menus and a buffet at
night. Guests will also have opportunity
to indulge in a candle-lit dinner and en-
joy a variety of local seafood. Also, they
can sip cocktails in the Lobby Bar or the
Aqualine Bar, or soak up some glorious
sunshine on the poolside loungers.
The hotel’s dedicated Fitness Cen-
tre and three outdoor swimming pools
are ideal for fitness fanatics. Also, the
Kid’s Club is always on-hand to enter-
tain young guests. Conveniently, with
complimentary WiFi connectivity all
over the hotel, it’s easy for guests to
share their holidays with friends.
In addition, InterContinental Nha
Trang boasts the most extensive meet-
ing facilities in the city, with five meet-
ing rooms with natural light and the
largest pillar-less grand ballroom in Nha
Trang, able to cater up to 725 persons.
InterContinental Nha Trang has
just launched its Residential Meeting
Package starting at VND3 million per
person. The package includes a De-
luxe Room, breakfast, internet access,
complimentary welcome drinks with
canapés, pressing service, and a com-
plimentary room extension for every
15 paying guests.
