The Mövenpick Hotel
Hanoi and the Mövenpick
Hotel Saigon have success-
fully achieved Green Globe
certification, making them
the very first hotels in all
of Vietnam to receive this
prestigious recognition. The
Green Globe certification
for the two flagship prop-
erties in Vietnam is in rec-
ognition for their significant
environmental, social and
cultural preservation efforts.
The certification, by the in-
dependent international or-
ganisation Green Globe, fol-
lows an audit at both hotels
where compliance to 337
indicators was measured.
These standards range from
customer satisfaction, water
consumption and energy
use, to community commit-
ment, waste management
and internal training.
Sofitel Saigon Plaza, the
only French five star luxury
Hotel in the city, has an-
nounced that it has received
a TripAdvisor Certificate of
Excellence award.
