also featured the image of its own

VietJetAir now operates more than
400 flights per week, with 11 domes-
tic routes and two international routes
connecting Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City
to Bangkok. The airline has a fleet of
brand-new, modern aircraft maintained
by the world’s best service providers
and a reputation for operating safe
flights with top quality service.
In a short space of time, the low-
cost carrier has received numerous ac-
colades both locally and internationally.
For example, VietJetAir was honoured
to be voted Most Friendly Transporta-
tion and Best Airline for Promotions in
Vietnam by the readers of the Vietnam
Economic Times.
VietJetAir strives to go beyond pas-
sengers’ expectations for service. For
example, on the occasion of Tet, on
the first flight of the New Lunar Year,
VietJetAir sent its best wishes to pas-
sengers and presented them with gifts.
It has also become famous for its
exciting mid-flight performances to
celebrate holidays and the launch of
new flights. Miss Vietnam played the
role of a VietJetAir stewardess on one
flight, while on another the god of
health, luck and happiness delivered
lucky money to passengers.
In the last year passengers also wit-
nessed Hawaiian style dancing, a Guin-
ness record-breaking flash-mob a Lady
Gaga-lookalike, while a Marilyn Mon-
roe-lookalike performed in Vinh airport
to celebrate the launch of a new route.
In addition, the airline’s in-flight
magazine One2Fly features insightful
travel features and useful information
for passengers.
As a pioneer and industry innova-
tor, VietJetAir’s mission is to further
develop around the world and offer
more and more passengers a chance
to enjoy flying; as such, one of the air-

Besides strict compliance with safe-
ty requirements and flight schedules,
VietJetAir focuses on constantly im-

by the airline’s highly trained pilots and
stewardesses. It has also cooperated
with giant global corporations and pro-
vides airbus management and training
for pilots and engineers.
The airline’s reservation system is
managed in Canada by CyberSource,
which is one of the world’s leading sup-
pliers in secured electronic payment ser-
vices. Furthermore, VietJetAir is a pio-
neer in Vietnam in that it provides hi-tech
services, such as kiosks for self-check in,
web check in and mobile apps for book-
ing tickets and checking in by phone.
