A
number of colourful charac-
ters from the up-coming film,
Planes, have been painted on
VietJetAir aircraft in an excit-
ing collaboration with Disney. Planes,
which is set to hit Vietnamese screens
on September 21, is an entertaining
tale of adventure told at a dizzying
speed. Its main character is Dusty is
not only a country bumpkin, but also
afraid of heights; however, he is des-
perate to overcome his fears and take
part in the biggest-ever jet race. With
the whole-hearted support of his new
found friends, Dusty stretches out his
wings to face the biggest challenge of
his life. This is truly a story that encour-
ages others to overcome such obstacles
with all their hearts.
“It’s amazing to fly with funny im-
ages of Planes on the exterior of your
window. I have to fly with it so I can take
pictures with it and show off on Face-
book. Surely that it will make my friends
envious,” said Duy Nghia from Haiphong.
Alongside the striking images of
Dusty on its planes, VietJetAir will be
offering various souvenirs and gifts fea-
turing images of the fun and friendly
characters.
“I saw the trailer of Planes and am
eagerly waiting for it to hit Vietnamese
screens. I want to board a VietJetAir
plane and buy a gift like lovely Dusty.
I have to get online VietJetAir book-
ings soon to hunt for a ticket to make
my dream come true,” said Hoa Chi, a
Hanoi girl.
This isn’t the first time the airline
has taken a step away from its stand-
ard, patriotic red and yellow base col-
ours. Last year, the airline featured
VietJetAir
ever evolving
VietJetAir has grown rapidly and seen off competition to become Vietnam’s
leading low cost carrier. One reason for this success is the airline’s constant in-
novations which show no sign of slowing.
