C
afé Central An Dong features
the largest breakfast, lunch, and
dinner buffets in Ho Chi Minh
City. Located on the fourth floor
of the Windsor Plaza Hotel, the restau-
rant provides plenty of favorites, with
vegetarian and non-vegetarian options,
monthly promotions, and international
or Vietnamese choices. With its expan-
sive seating, the restaurant and connect-
ed terrace can serve up to 550 persons,
making it a perfect option for family,
friend, or business gatherings.
Café Central An Dong is catered
for by an international culinary team.
Heading the team is Giovanni Parrella,
an Italian chef who has spent years
working throughout Asia. “This is a very
big buffet with a large variety of food.
The feeling of cooking such a big se-
lection is very nice; and I feel totally
confident because we have many well
qualified chefs,” he says. “Moreover, I
have travelled the world for the past 20
years; I have been working in England,
India, China, and so on so I have seen
and experienced a lot of cuisine.”
At Café Central An Dong, guests
can have the luxury of choosing a
variety of cuisines from an expansive
buffet. Some highlights of the buffet
are the Chinese dishes, sushi, pizza,
pasta, salads, and the hot-pot stations.
Guests can also indulge in imported
brie or a traditional bowl of Vietnam-
ese
pho
.
“This month we will cook a wide se-
lection of snails in different ways,” says
Giovanni, adding: “We will also cook
right in front of the guests - I think it is
very interesting seeing the chefs cook-
ing and our guests will love it.”
In addition to the famous buffet,
Café Central An Dong also provides
a diverse selection from its a-la-carte
menu. Whether you’re stopping by for a
continental breakfast or a bowl of laksa
noodles, there’s something to satisfy
your taste buds. The entire a-la-carte
menu is available for take away or for
room service.
If you’re hosting a celebration, then
be sure to stop by the cake counter
which features a variety of pastries,
chocolates, and custom-order cakes for
take away or dining in.
Huynh Ky Nam, F&B director says:
“We change our style and launch new
promotions regularly to give our guests
better services.”
Each month, the restaurant offers
a variety of cuisines. Last month saw
Japanese dishes top the bill and this
month snails take centre stage. Expect
the traditional lemon grass and chili
Vietnamese variant and more unique
offerings such as freshly baked Italian
pizza topped with snails.
Café Central An Dong is open daily
from 06am to 22pm at 4th floor, Wind-
sor Plaza Hotel, 18 An Duong Vuong
Street, District 5, Ho Chi Minh City.
