Parisian Hanoi
ituated in the city centre,
Mercure Hanoi La Gare’s
Brasserie Le Pavillon res-
taurant is the ideal place
to relax and unwind while savouring
healthy food and watching the daily life
of Hanoi. After a day of work or walk-
ing and discovery, it’s perfect to enjoy
this calm and cozy oasis in the heart of
frenzied Hanoi.
Designed elegantly with modern
and stylish decor, Brasserie Le Pavillon
offers guests the option of dining in the
bright restaurant, in its fully enclosed
garden courtyard, or on its street ter-
race.
Strictly following the luxurious and
hygienic standards of the Accor hotel
group, the restaurant serves a delicious
menu, featuring a range of Vietnamese
and international specialties alongside
a wine list of over 200 varieties.
Brasserie Le Pavillon Bar offers an
eclectic range of cocktails, a unique
selection of fresh juices, international
and local beers, premium spirits and
liquors, all complemented by a hand-
picked selection of wines. A mouthwa-
tering snack menu is also available.
To refresh after the burning heat
of Hanoi’s summer, weekly specials in-
clude quiche Lorraine and green papaya
salad with dried beef. Other mains in-
clude risotto with sausage, mushrooms,
chicken and parmesan; grilled tuna
steak for fish lovers; or roasted pork
fillet mignon for meat fans. And then
it’s perfect to finish with a chocolate
mud cake or an apple fritter with cin-
namon ice. The cost is reasonable, at
only VND180,000 for two courses and
VND210,000 for three.
The Parisian Sunday Brunch is pop-
ular with groups of friends or family.
For only VND450,000 per person (half
price for kids under 12 and free for chil-
dren below 4), guests can experience
the true atmosphere and flavours of
Paris. For VND210,000 more, patrons
can enjoy free flow sparkling wine, red
or white house wine and juices. There is
also a kids corner where the little ones
can play under the supervision of staff.
The Parisian Sunday Brunch starts
with a cup of tea or morning coffee,
a glass of fresh orange juice, and a
basket of pastries, french toast, lemon
granita and a salad bar. Then you can
choose from the main courses such as
smoked salmon on toast with steamed
potatoes and dill; goat cheese grilled
on toast with oven potatoes; or tomato
and mozzarella on toast with pumpkin
shoot gazpacho.
Furthermore, Brasserie Le Pavillon
is a great stop for wine lovers who can
sample various luxury wines at reason-
able prices. This month, the restaurant
hosts a wine event on the 12th, with
a discount of 60 per cent on Deutz
NV champagne, Leeuwin Estate Art
Series Riesling, and Delas Cotes du
Rhone. Meanwhile, June 26 sees a
wine tasting with free Bordeaux and a
tapas menu.
Just 10 minutes walk to the Hanoi
Old Quarter or the Temple of Litera-
ture, 15 minutes to Hoan Kiem Lake, 5
minutes from the shopping centre and
the ICE Exhibition Centre, this is a great
base for discovering Hanoi.
