launched a two day tour
staying at the Mekong
Lodge. This trip to Mekong
will introduce travelers to an

VietJetAir has com-
menced sales for its second
international route connect-
ing Hanoi to Bangkok. The
new connection will open
on June 1, 2013. The car-
rier is launching a mega sale
for flights between Bangkok
and Ho Chi Minh City/Hanoi
with tickets starting at $0.
Bookings can be made from
April 10 to April 20, 2013 for
travel between April 15 and
December 20, 2013. All you
have to do is click on www.
vietjetair.com and follow the
easy-to-use booking steps.
VietJetAir currently op-
erates a daily round trip be-
tween Ho Chi Minh City and
Bangkok and the Hanoi-
Bangkok connection will op-
erate at the same frequency.
The new route will depart
from Hanoi at 10:50am and
land in Bangkok at 12:40am.
The return flight will depart
from Suvarnabhumi airport
at 1:35pm and arrive at Noi
Bai International Airport at
3.25pm.
VietJetAir’s highly afford-
able flights have helped the
airline rapidly expand its do-
mestic network, which now
covers nine destinations.
Tourists visiting Hanoi
now have two more electric
car tour routes to choose
from. Designed by the Dong
Xuan Joint Stock Company,
the tours will take visitors
through several French-in-
fluenced architectural areas
past buildings of interest in-
cluding the railway station,
the University of Pharmacy
and the Opera House. Other
historical spots such as Hoa
Lo Prison and Quan Su Pa-
goda are on the tour’s agen-
da. Beginning from Dinh
Tien Hoang street alongside
Hoan Kiem Lake, both tours
will last for approximately
45 minutes. Tickets for the
tours start at VND20,000.
The company currently offers
electric car tours within the
Old Quarter and Hoan Kiem
Lake with about 1,000 tour-
ists taking a tour every day.
