Responding to the call
for poverty relief support
in the north east provinc-
es of Vietnam, Southeast
Asia Joint Stock Commer-
cial Bank (SeABank) has
signed an agreement with
the People’s Committee
of Cho Moi district, Bac
Kan province, to provide
VND5 billion to build the
national standard Cho Moi
Preschool.
The two storey school

aware of social responsi-

the community. Through
our practical action, such
as building schools, award-

ple who have suffered
from natural disasters, and
many more, we aim to help
create a better and happier
life.”
Over the last few years

been promoted to general
director of Diamond Bay
Resort & Spa. He hails from
Vancouver, Canada, where
he majored in the arts at
the University of British Co-

a complete overhaul of the
company, determined to re-
brand and restructure Dia-
mond Bay to re-position it as
one of the premiere resorts
in Vietnam against a back-
ground of fierce competition
from other emerging brands,
as well as chain hotels.
Diamond
Bay
now
aims to expand its opera-
tions by establishing itself
as a strong, reputable hotel
management company, ul-
timately transforming into a

School Saigon implements a
disciplined, yet flexible plat-
form to promote both the
physical and mental well-being of our
students. Physical education imple-
mented through activities, exercise,
and sport is not only made available,
it’s encouraged inside and outside of
the classroom.
Our physical education platform
begins early. The foundation of the
Early Years programme is learning
through play.
The campus is outfitted with an
indoor, heated 25 metre swimming
pool and an astroturf football field. A
fitness center has also been installed,
complete with weight and elliptical
machines, as well as treadmills for
training.
Through organised activities and
sports, children learn the value of
teamwork, which they will utilise in
every aspect of their life. Physical ac-
tivities assist them in problem solving.
They teach students to make decisions
when challenged, utilise good judge-
ment and make mistakes in a competi-
tive yet fun environment, which they
will learn from, build on and apply to
their future endeavours.
As well as physical activity, healthy
eating is important, as is rest for recu-
peration.
Guidance is our primary concern
and we educate students to turn off
phones and other devices when they
are sleeping, while also teaching them
various other successful strategies that
help re-charge their batteries.
At Renaissance International School
Saigon, our staff, teachers, parents, car-
egivers, and the students themselves
are encouraged to give feedback. Con-
tributing to the entire educational pro-
cess is part of our basic philosophy:
“Inspire. Achieve.”
To “Inspire, Achieve” students need
a healthy body and a healthy mind.
