REVIEW
Vihajico has connected
two final spans of the Bac
Hung Hai Bridge in the Eco-
park new urban area. De-
signed and built by Singa-
porean contractor, Ultracon,
the 370metre bridge will link
the first part of Ecopark with
the remaining areas as well
as linking Hanoi with Hung
Yen province once it opens
for traffic next January.
The bridge lies on a
road that will help shorten
travelling time between Ha-
noi and Hung Yen. As such,
it will be easier for tourists
to visit Bat Trang pottery vil-
lage near the Ecopark and
then continue travelling to
explore the countryside and
the old town of Pho Hien.
The 500-hectare Eco-
park is 15 kilometres from
downtown Hanoi via Thanh
Tri and Vinh Tuy bridges
and it is also becoming a
tourist attraction in its own
right. The first phase of
the township is now near-
ing completion, with 1,500
apartments, more than 300
villas and various shops.
