SeABank wins international bank award
On September 30 the
British University Vietnam in
Hanoi organised a graduation
ceremony for its first cohort.
This group of 20 stu-
dents started their degree
journey in 2010, studying
for an International Busi-
ness Management degree
from Staffordshire Univer-
sity (UK). Professor Michael
Gunn, vice-chancellor of
Staffordshire University per-
sonally awarded BUV stu-
dents with the awards. Of
the 20 graduating students
seven achieved the high-
est possible award of first
class degrees and eight were
awarded an upper second.
The Staffordshire Uni-
versity programmes offered
at the British University Viet-
nam regularly undergo strict
quality assessment and vali-
dation, and these processes
are managed by specialists
from Staffordshire Universi-
ty during the students’ stud-
ies at BUV.
Professor
Michael
Gunn said: “No longer are
borders and distance bar-
riers to learning. Stafford-
shire’s students can study
their degrees from across
the globe. The students of
Staffordshire University can
either study in the United
Kingdom or Vietnam, and
the offered programmes,
curriculum and degrees
are exactly the same as in
the UK.”
