Le Cat Trong Ly
Le Cat Trong Ly is no
stranger to audiences in Ha-
noi and she’s coming back
with two consecutive nights
at L’Espace. Born in 1987, Le
Cat Trong Ly is well known
amongst the youth as a tal-
ented singer and song writ-
er. Accompanying Ly will be
pianist Vu Dang Quoc Viet;
violinist, Le Minh Tuong;
lip-reed artist, Nguyen Duc
Minh; and string artist, Ngo
Hong Quang.

Rock Storm is the big-
gest rock event in Vietnam
and has been running since
2008. Rock Storm 2012
features leading Vietnam-
ese rock bands, such as The
Wall, Ngu Cung, Unlimited,
Microwave, KOP, 18+, i-
teu, Oringchains, Hot Sky
and Black Infinity.
They will perform in
seven cities and provinc-
es and are set to attract
thousands. The show hits
Danang on January 12,
Bien Hoa on January 17,
Saigon on the January 26
and Can Tho on January
31.
Tickets: VND30,000.
All money will be donated
to Operation Smile and the
poor student fund of the
Central Youth Union.

tra in a performance of
Piano Concerto No.1 –

15 and Piano Concerto
No.4 – No.5 on January
18. Dang Thai Son is a Vi-
etnamese-born, Canadian
pianist and gold medal
winner of the Tenth In-
ternational Chopin Piano
Competition in Warsaw.
Dang Thai Son has per-
formed in more than 40
countries.

Traditional Music
Performances of tra-
