31 enterprises receive licenses for trading gold bars

The enterprises, who have passed have had to adhere to the tight regulations of the SBV, include 17 credit institutions and 14 enterprises.

As such, the gold bullion trading network will cover 63 provinces and cities, including 2,456 points of transaction.

Gold shops will be required to post their buying and selling prices for gold bars.

The SBV also issued Circular No. 38 on December 28, requiring credit institutions to keep gold position at 2% lower than their chartered capital and obtain positive position with gold by the end of every day.

Banking experts have said that the tight regulations to take effect on January 10, 2013, will help improve management of the trade of gold.
