The first part of the ongoing financial literacy and education campaign was launched in partnership with the Central Committee of Vietnam Student Association (CCVSA). It comprises a new website, a series of university road shows and a video contest, which aim to prepare students with important money management skills.

Lorijon Bacchi, country manager of Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia said: “Visa has been providing financial education for nearly 15 years. Today we have reached another milestone in this endeavour by announcing the launch of Practical Money Skills in Vietnam, the first market in Southeast Asia to roll out this campaign.”

As a part of the campaign, Visa has also launched the Practical Money Skills vide contest, open to all university students nationwide. To participate, students have to produce a 30-second to three minute long video on what financial management means to them. The contest runs from March 21 till July 2, 2012.
