Taiwan Excellence campaign 2011 strategy take the consumer-centric approach to another level by expanding our presence and activities, reaching the national scale consumers with an array of new, engaging and interactive activities in the coming months.
Taiwan Excellence campaign this year will officially start in May throughout December, starting with Taiwan ICT Day on May 28 in Hanoi.
With 26leading Taiwanese ICT brands participating in this year campaign, consumers will able to experience presence at various touch points starting with the festive Taiwan ICT Day in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, ICT product showcase exhibitions at Computer World Expo, promotional activities at retail outlets and a regional program dedicated to Vietnamese public, a chance to travel across India, Indonesia and Taiwan on a 21-day travel journey titled Taiwan Excellence ‘IT TravelersGo’.
Speaking at the launching occasion, Huang Chih-Peng, representative, Taipei Economic & Cultural Office in Hanoi indicated: “Taiwan and Vietnam has long established both in terms of economic development and cultural exchange. Taiwan Excellence Campaign launched in 2010, and then the accumulated exporting amount of Taiwan ICT products to Vietnam in 2010 rose to $34.9 million or 76.6 per cent increase over 2009’s. This means Taiwan Excellecne Campaign has improved the Taiwan ICT industry image in Vietnam.”
“Currently, the Vietnamese government hopes to attract foreign investment to develop ICT industry and create high add-on economic value. This is the strength of Taiwan and we believe the interaction and cooperation between Taiwan and Vietnam ICT industry will be closer than ever.”
