|Rishabh Singhi, chief operating officer of RedDoorz, shared about the technology platform|
Currently in the world, smart or budget travelling is trending – people value experience and believe quality experience can come from affordable options. Paying less does not translate into "less exciting" – travellers now expect priceless experiences during their visits. Starting from this point, RedDoorz quickly became a fast-growing budget accommodation provider in Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Vietnam.
Utilising a technology solution considered “a platform for all”, RedDoorz has been co-operating with over 1,200 partners from Southeast Asian countries and over 100 partners from Vietnam in room sales and value management, marketing, branding, service standardisation, and efficient customer care. Thanks to the technology platform, RedDoorz is able to anticipate customer demands for booking, thereby helping hotels reduce vacancy rates and reducing costs for booking channels, thus increasing hotel revenue.
As part of the brand network, a property is to add the signage “RedDoorz” to its name and be subject to strict quality control in accordance with RedDoorz standards. Therefore, tourists can be assured of room quality in accordance with the pre-set standards, including service quality from staff members who are carefully trained in accordance with the chain standards, thus enhancing the in-house guest experience.
RedDoorz develops a free booking app for quick and secured reservations with only a few steps. The app also allows customers to earn and accumulate points for subsequent bookings. Users can pay via various, flexible methods depending on each market, such as Go-Pay in Indonesia and Payoo, MoMo, and ZaloPay in Vietnam. Tourists will also get the best price thanks to RedDoorz’s real-time market rate technology called RedFox, which has just received the accolade of Big Data in Hospitality and Leisure at the inaugural SBR Technology Excellence Awards for outstanding contributions of technology innovations.
Supplementing the booking app, property owners can also revamp the hotel management with RedPartner – a platform which provides streamlined online check-in functionality and provides hassle-free inventory management. In the ecosystem of RedDoorz, technology supports both owners and guests to enjoy the most convenience during their stays.
The appearance of models like RedDoorz has offered enormous benefits to both tourists and partners. By standardising the services of budget hotels while simultaneously enhancing customers experience and attracting tourists, RedDoorz contributes to improving the competitiveness and sustainable development of the Vietnamese tourism industry – a potential market yet to be fully exploited.
The current occupancy rate of RedDoorz hotels is up to 75 per cent. RedDoorz already owns a system of 100 hotels across six major cities in Vietnam, and aims at expanding to more than 220 properties by the end of the year.
