Though online learning presents an exciting yet challenging experience for students, it has opened up a great opportunity for them to approach modern learning methods via the digital platform and cultivate self-awareness and self-motivation in studying and doing research. From the new school year (2020-2021), VAS has introduced a new pathway of study called the “Cambridge Academic Programme International” (CAPI) for students from grades 9 to 12 at four campuses. The programme has been designed to serve the needs of many students and parents in Ho Chi Minh City for a fuller international programme with reasonable tuition fees. It helps students reduce learning pressure by focusing more on academic knowledge of the Cambridge programme. Students will take only a few subjects in the Ministry of Education and Training’s programme. Completing Grade 12, students can sit the exam and receive diplomas and certificates from both programmes including the Cambridge AS-A Level and, if they so wish, the National Degree.
