COPA 19.1 in core black and solar yellow
In January 2018, before the final stage of the U23 Asian Cup 2018 between Vietnam and Uzbekistan, adidas boots were frequently mentioned as the brand was chosen by the Vietnamese team to fight the thick snow covering the pitch. One year later, the name rises again as an inseparable companion to numerous players on the Vietnamese national team as they march toward creating a new miracle.
The boots are a secret. They are a combination of technologies and designs engineered to enhance particular skills. World football stars often choose a certain model to improve their performance. Paulo Dybala swears by COPA, Roberto Firmino or Jesse Lingard chose Nemeziz, Gabriel Jesus wears X18, and Paul Pogba only plays in Predator.
Juventus and Argentina striker Paulo Dybala said of COPA, “I’ve always been a fan of COPA because of the classic look and incredible first touch. It suits my style of play and my personal style too. The new boot has some great new features and a progressive design. I am looking forward to seeing how far my game can improve with these boots.”
Recently, Dybala’s favourite boot was introduced with updated colours and underwent some optimisation, following a release of the Exhibit Pack of four new models, including COPA 19.1, NEMEZIZ 18.1, X 18.1, and Predator 19.1. This pack will be released in Vietnam on January 29.
COPA 19.1, coming in core black and solar yellow, is designed to maximise fit, touch, and movement. It has foam pads and an ortholite sockliner inside to provides cushioning and comfort. This design will show its effectiveness best when players wriggle around.
The sockfit collar naturally expands to foot shape and an anatomical upper mimics a barefoot experience. The new fuse skin re-defines touch for a football boot by a seamless and less permeable skin. The K Leather is super soft, providing optimal comfort and touch. The X RAY VAMP brings the foot closer to the ball and reduces slippage. The purecut laces remove unneeded layers to maximise ball control area.
NEMEZIZ 18.1 stands out with Solar Yellow tones
Designed to enhance the performance of the game’s most agile players, the solar yellow Nemeziz 18.1 brings torsiontapes technology, providing ultimate lockdown of the foot. A dual-lock collar secures the ankle and allows for explosive change of direction while an agilityknit 2.0 interlocking yarn structure provides a soft, direct touch and a lightweight feel.
The X 18.1 is engineered for attacking
The X 18.1 is engineered for attacking, which provides stability and support at high speed thanks to the mid-foot and a low-cut claw collar and 3D moulded heel, while the skeletal weave, ultra-soft speedmesh and speedframe outsole allow responsive touch and light weight. It will come in an active red colourway with the three stripes highlighted in metallic silver.
Predator 18.1 comes in a striking new bold blue colourway with silver metallic and active red accents
Predator 18.1 was the Vietnamese team’s weapon in the historical match with Uzbekistan. Thanks to a purecut laceless system, the new Predator 19.1 helps deliver maximum surface control through a forged knit integrated midfoot structure, creates medial and lateral stability while a full length boost™ midsole provides energy return with every step. The boot also includes a primeknit sockfit collar to ensure a supportive and comfortable fit and a layer of controlskin to provide optimal grip. An anatomical upper mimics the shape of the heel to lock the foot into place. This version comes in a striking new bold blue colourway with silver metallic and active red accents.
