Visitors to be banned from tourist sites for ‘inappropriate’ clothes
Visitors who wear unsuitable clothes will be refused entrance to cultural sites in Hanoi, according to Hanoi Relic Site Management Board.

Board head Nguyen Thi Hoa listed 48 Hang Ngang, 5D Ham Long, 90 Tho Nhom and the President Ho Chi Minh Commemorative House in Ha Dong District’s Van Phuc Ward have all started insisting on coats for sites from April 25, even though these locations have absolutely no religious significance.
Hoa said the move was in response to Hanoi People’s Committee supposedly voluntary code on public behaviour.
Ngoc Son Temple as a religious site has the dress code in place.
