The meeting between Vinamilk and Quang Ngai leaders

On July 18, Vinamilk's leaders worked with local authorities on the investment plan. The firm has been studying the locations suggested by the local people's committee and has found Duc Phuc commune the most feasible. The area has an area of around 120 hectares. It has favourable transport conditions and stable water resources for the breeding farm.

Vinamilk plans to develop a dairy cattle farm with around 4,000 cows to ensure the stable source of fresh milk for its two milk factories in the central city of Danang and the central province of Binh Dinh. At present, the firm's farms just meet 30 per cent of the total input demand of these factories.

After the fact-finding trip, Vinamilk will consider the detailed investment plan.

After 41 years of operations, Vinamilk has grown to be the country's biggest dairy company. The company has invested in 13 factories and 10 milk cow farms nationwide, including an EU-certified organic dairy farm, the first of its kind in the country.
