With two mega shows around the corner, Vietnam’s water and renewable energy sectors are expected to gain further traction.
A pair of big expos will put Vietnam’s water supply and renewable resources into focus

The official opening ceremony of Vietnam’s leading international water supply, sanitation, water resources, and purification event, VIETWATER, and Vietnam’s leading renewable energy and energy efficiency exhibition, RE & EE Vietnam, organised by UBM Asia, will take place at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre in Ho Chi Minh City on November 8.

The three-day event will attract over 480 exhibitors from 38 countries and regions, as well as 14 international pavilions, including Australia, Belgium, China, the EU, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Japan, Singapore, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, and the UK.

A wide array of cutting-edge technologies, solutions, products, and equipment in all subdivisions of the water and renewable energy industry will be showcased at this business platform. They will give great opportunities to connect and find solutions for managing, operating, and controlling water and energy projects.

The combined exhibition hosts several seminars and workshops to improve the prospects of Vietnam’s water and renewable energy sectors.

The highlight of this year’s expo is Vietnam’s Urban Day workshop with the theme “Vietnam – Urbanisation Towards Sustainable Development”, gathering government professionals to share ideas about new policies, practices, and action plans for upcoming projects.

Under the framework of the event, there will be many highlights and technical seminars over the three days.

On the first day, the exhibition gives an insight into the market’s future trends through an energy forum on developing renewable energy and energy efficiency projects as well as a workshop on transforming water infrastructure from Hungarian experts.

The next day will have an international conference titled “Towards Sustainable Water Development – International Experience”, and an Australia-Vietnam joint workshop on innovation technology and entrepreneurship, as well as the EuroCham smart city series on water and waste management.

The third day will be wrapped up with a Vietnam-Australia joint workshop on water utility twinning as well as an innovation gallery.

With support from the Ministry of Construction and the Vietnam Water Supply and Sewerage Association (VWSA), the event is organised by UBM Asia, the largest trade show organiser in Asia, with more than 30 years of experience.
