Vietnam, RoK boost up cooperation

PM Nguyen Tan Dung expected that Republic of Korea’s (RoK) National Assembly will support the two nations’ Governments in boosting up cooperative activities in terms of economy, trade, investment, tourism, labor and Free Trade Agreement negotiations.

The PM made the statement at his reception with Speaker of the RoK NA Kang Chang Hee on January 14.

He also applauded recent progresses in the Viet Nam-RoK strategic partnership and hoped that the guest’s visit will contribute to the two countries’ cooperation in all fields.

Viet Nam will do its utmost to accelerate the bilateral relations for peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and in the world, he confirmed. 

The Vietnamese Government will create favorable conditions for the RoK’s businesses to invest in Viet Nam, he added.

Besides, PM Dung hoped that the RoK will maintain its Official Development Assistance (ODA) for Viet Nam and support peace and stability in the East Sea.

Mr. Kang Chang Hee highly spoke of achievements Viet Nam has gained in the socio-economic development and international integration as well as the country’s higher status in the world.

He proposed that the two sides should strengthen cooperation in fields of energy, infrastructure, science and technology, and aeronautics.
