Minh stressed, “This APEC Park is an effort to expand and deepen understanding of the APEC, connecting our peoples and advancing cultural exchange.”

He also lauded the support from APEC members who sent selected works of art to showcase the region’s rich cultures.

“Located by the Han River, at the heart of the dynamic city of Danang, the APEC Park is dedicated to you, your economies, and your peoples. My hope it is that it will be a symbol of the APEC’s innovation, vigor, and spirit of co-operation, and one of the must-see attractions for travellers in Danang,” Deputy Prime Minister Minh concluded.

Minh and distinguished guests unveiled the stone-carved APEC 2017 logo, planted trees, and enjoyed the artistic works sculpted by talented artisans from the APEC economies.
