Vietnam Airlines wins "Best Airlines of the Year" award

National carrier Vietnam Airlines has won the "Best Airlines of the Year" award for its contribution to the tourism sector in the Mekong sub-region.

Vietnam Airlines' award is one of the many Mekong international tourism awards being presented at the 12th HCM City International Travel Expo (ITE HCMC) from September 8 to 10. The awards were jointly selected by representatives of travel agents and tourism sectors from Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Viet Nam.

At the event, Vietnam Airlines is selling return tickets for international flights with the price starting from VND207,000 and one-way tickets for domestic flights for VND299,000 and above.

In addition, low-cost carrier Jetstar Pacific, a joint venture between Vietnam Airlines and Qantas Airways (Australia), is offering 3,350 one-way tickets with the price starting at VND48,000 and above for flights from HCM City to Cam Ranh, Buon Ma Thuot, Da Lat, Pleiku and Hue.

Jetstar Pacific has also introduced its promotional offer "Buy one, get one," in which passengers will enjoy a free return flight upon buying a departure flight. Passengers can book tickets priced between VND290,000 and VND1 million at jetstar.com from September 9 to September 11.
