The Centre said that the strongest wind power near its centre of the typhoon was estimated at category 11, with winds of up to 60-75km per hour.

In the next 24 hours, the typhoon will move in a westerly direction and likely change its direction to south west west at a speed of between 10-15km per hour.

Due to the impact of circulation of the typhoon, heavy downpours and thunderstorms will hit the northern area of the East Sea, including the waters of Hoang Sa islands.

In the next 24 and 48 hours, the storm will continue to move west south west at 10 kph and will weaken into a tropical depression.
