The highest waterfall in Vietnam’s Central Highlands

Dasar waterfall, on the road between Da Lat and Nha Trang, is the ideal destination for those who want to be challenged by adventure and immersed in grandiose nature.

The waterfall is located in the forest in Dasar commune, Lac Duong suburban district, on the road between Dalat and Nha Trang.

The path leading to Dasar waterfall is complicated. Those who come here will never forget the beauty as in a fairy tale in Dasar, with lakes covered with old trees or sheet of silk.

The waterfall is over 200 meters in height, pouring from the top of a mountain down to the valley hidden deeply in the forest.

Not attached to legends and romantic love stories, Dasar waterfall is simply the name from the locals, based on this place-name.

The fall is considered the God of the Central Highlands mountains by ethnic minority people with typical figures, such as being naive and gentle in the dry season, but extremely powerful and intense when the rains come.

It takes more than 40 minutes by car on the road DT No.23, then 40 minutes by motorcycle or dedicated jeeps.

Dasar is appreciated as a beautiful waterfall, but it is not easy to see it all. The path leading to the fall is not for those who are inexperienced drivers, because the winding road hugs the hillside and valley.

Currently, there are a number of travel companies offering adventure tours in this area, moving primarily by dedicated jeeps.
