Kon Tum is a majestic basalt soil plateau, with many beautiful landscapes and a rich cultural background of ethnic groups. The Po Ko River is an interesting address on the itinerary.
The border landmark of the three Indochina countries – Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia – is built on a mountain of 1,086 meters above sea level.
The Kon Klor communal house is the largest in Kon Tum. It is the place for community activities, and a symbol of ethnic minorities in the Central Highlands.

Visitors can take flights from Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, and Da Nang to the Pleiku Airport, then take the bus for more than 40 km to Kontum. If you want to stay overnight in Kon Tum, you should book rooms in advance, at a price from VND150,000. Most of the tourist sites here are open for free.
You should try local specialities like com lam (rice), grilled meat, stream fish, and wild vegetables. |
