The festival expects to attract the participation of over 30,000 people and at least 10,000 of them are registered to donate 8,000 units of blood for hospitals.
The event, the sixth of its kind, aims to encourage people to show their humanitarian spirit by donating blood to help alleviate the serious blood shortage at 120 hospitals in the Northern region.
In addition, a series of other activities including artistic activities, camping, folk games, and a ceremony to celebrate International Women’s Day (March 8) are planned as part of the blood drive.
