PIX24 is fully type-tested according to IEC standards. Hawee is the first manufacturer of PIX24 licensed by Schneider Electric in Vietnam. Under the deal, Hawee is authorised to manufacture, assemble, test, and sell PIX24, using the know-how and technology of Schneider Electric.

To have the capacity and knowledge to do so, Hawee employees responsible for the new production received technical training on the manufacturing and assembly process of PIX24 from Schneider Electric personnel.

PIX24 switchgear provides exceptional performance and outstanding reliability, helping to ensure service continuity for networks with a technology that is both easy to use and to maintain.

Some of the main features, such as operations and indications, are concentrated on the front of the switchgear, and racking in and out is only possible with the door closed. Additionally. interlocks and padlocks prevent operator errors and the compact and uniform design ensures easy on-site control, monitoring, and installation.

PIX24 switchgear is used for all electrical power distribution markets, including marine and navy applications, energy, oil and gas, and the infrastructure industry.

“The partnership with Schneider Electric is a key part of Hawee’s long-term business strategy,” said Do Thi Thu Huong, director of Hawee Production and Trading JSC. “After the successful technology transfer of Blokset in 2014, Hawee continues to be a trusted partner for Schneider Electric to transfer the technology of medium voltage switchgear. This is a strategic global product line of Schneider Electric with possible application in all electrical power distribution markets as well as the heavy industry.”

“The agreement forms part of the company’s plan to increase the localisation rate of our business,” said Yoon Young Kim, country president of Schneider Electric Vietnam, Myanmar and Cambodia, adding that the local manufacturing of PIX24 would serve customers better with improved lead times and competitive price.

“We always want to provide pre-engineered and adaptable solutions for all our products that are tailored to customers’ specific requirements and we believe that PIX24 is expected to meet any and all medium voltage switchgear requests,” he said.
