Reed Tradex launches “KOMA TAISEN” Battles in Hanoi

Koma Taisen is a highlight activity in “Vietnam Manufacturing Expo 2014”, which takes place in Hanoi from September 27th – 29th. This is a tournament that gather together small and medium sized manufacturing association (SME's) from all Japan. These companies put all their soul in designing and making Koma (spintop) to participate in spintop fight battles.

The Koma (spin top) must have a diameter of 20mm. or less, smaller than a one yen coin. These small Koma (spintop) are designed and created with highly sophisticated unique “in-house” manufacturing techniques from participants from all over Japan. Koma (spintop), are great because at first glance you cannot notice the initial quality, however they have been manufactured with professional precision. The Koma enter the ring against their competitor and collide with each to fight to determine the winner. The overall winner of the competition will win all the Koma (spintop) from all the other participating competitors.

This is not about making business but to promote the prosperity of the manufacturing industry through competition of Koma showcasing skills and technology. Many small companies have not had the opportunity to product any of their own products because they are normally subcontracted to large technology companies.

Koma Taisen motivates these small companies to create Koma (spintop) that will participate of Koma (spintops) battles where people can see the games, and thus the small manufacturing industry can be given the opportunity to show and promote their companies high professional skills to the world.

In this competition, there will be 16 companies to join this battle! the list of participants are follows:

Goko Spring Vietnam, Broad Bright Sakura Vietnam, Fujico Vietnam, Hamagasu Vietnam, Rhythm Precision Vietnam, Sato Vietnam, Kom Vietnam, Akebono Kasei Vietnam, Namamura Vietnam, Sakura Hong Minh Vietnam, Yamazaki Technical Vietnam, Noda Vietnam, Leo Electronics Vietnam, Atarih Precision Vietnam, Noble Electronics Vietnam, Rorze Robotech.

The winner from this competition will take part in “World Championship Sekai Koma Taisen 2015” in Yokohama city, Japan which will be held on 15 February 2015.
