Quang Ngai builds 1,471 homes for the poor

The Provincial Steering Board of Programme 30a recently released the information. It also said that 911 homes for the poor were still being built and that the amount of disbursed capital reached VND 21.8 billion or 13.92 percent of the set plan.
In 2013, the State Budget is expected to earmark more than 195 billion for the province to build 54 projects under the programme.
In the first quarter, localities finished 12 projects and put them into use.
Regarding the specific capital supporting local production and raising people’s income under the programme, the province has allocated VND 54.2 billion for localities to develop seeds and breeds; plant forests; buy fertilizers and pesticides, and open vocational training courses for rural labourers.
