CapitaLand Vietnam, MIVI Joint Stock company, Nam Long Investment Corporation, and a number of others were shortlisted for the 2017 PropertyGuru Vietnam Property Award.

Twenty-three companies will attend the ceremony to compete in 33 categories which will be revealed on June 2. Currently, CapitaLand Vietnam leads with 10 nominations in the final shortlist, with their flagship D1mension—a branded condo development in Ho Chi Minh City’s District 1 nominated for the award.

In Danang, MIVI Joint Stock Company’s mixed-use development X2 Hoi An has collected a total of seven nominations, including five citations in architectural, interior, and landscape design.

Comprising of hotel and residential villa units, the Co Co River project is set to become one of the acclaimed destinations of Vietnam’s Central Coast. Nam Long Investment Corporation, meanwhile, was nominated for its housing project Valora Fuji.

According to Thien Duong, managing director of Transform Architecture and head of the judging committee, nearly 130 entries were submitted, making this year’s award a particularly competitive one. A total of 23 companies made the final cut following a rigorous nomination and judging process in the last six months.

Hari V. Krishnan, CEO of PropertyGuru Group, said that Vietnam is a vital market for the group.

“In the past year, Vietnam became our fifth core market and I am excited to see more positive developments in the country’s real estate industry,” said Krishnan.

The black tie gala dinner of the award will be held in Ho Chi Minh City this June.
