Located about 46km from the central province of Thanh Hoa, Ben En National Park is an attractive eco-tourism destination which is likened to ‘Ha Long Bay on land’.

Covering 16,634ha on two districts of Nhu Xuan and Nhu Thanh, it is home to valuable and rare species of animals and birds, such as the red wolf, black gibbon, great hornbill, gayal, tibetan bear, red-face monkey, elephants, bears and, until recent years, tigers.
