PM welcomes new East Timorese Ambassador

PM Dung affirmed that Viet Nam always attaches importance to the multifaceted ties with East Timor for respective benefits.

He hoped that Timor-Leste would create favorable ways for businesses of the two sides to strengthen economic and commercial linkages and open door for Vietnamese enterprises to penetrate into the domestic telecom market.

Viet Nam, said the host leader stands ready to promote rice exports to Timo – Leste to help ensure food security there and backs its candidacy for ASEAN membership.

For his part, the Ambassador underscored to spare no effort to beef up the bilateral relationship particularly in agricultural aspect. He expressed his hope that Viet Nam would share experience and work with Timor Leste in such areas as telecom, infrastructure and agricultural development.
